Calculation module

In collaboration with various specialists, the Haaglanden Climate Fund has developed a module to help you calculate your CO2 emissions. This requires you to collect information about:

  • your electricity consumption (green energy not included);
  • your natural gas consumption;
  • your litres of fuel used.

This is based on invoices and bills. Please fill in the below form and send it to the Haaglanden Climate Fund including copies of receipts. You are not obligated to fill in every part of the form; calculating a certain part is also possible. You can skip the parts that do not apply to you. Press the 'Calculate' button and the amount of CO2 per kilogram will be displayed.
After the climate fund has checked and accepted your calculation, you can reduce your own CO2 emissions by:

  • investigating which energy-saving measures you can take;
  • replacing fossil fuels with sustainable energy sources, such as solar and wind energy;
  • reducing the remaining CO2 emissions by contributing a sum of 20 euros per ton of CO2 to the climate fund. These funds will be used to support local, climate-friendly projects which would not be carried out without this additional support.
